Nola puppies at 6.5 weeks (girls)

We tried stacked shots again today. They actually turned out quite nice. A few puppies did not want to stand as well, but for the most part, I think you can really see how they are developing. The girls are easier for me to sort out then the boys right now. Would love comments...or if you want to come over for a visit, I am sure I can squeeze that in!!

Puppies outdoor adventure!

The puppies got a chance to see the outdoors today. They haven't had much chance to be outside because the weather has been so rainny lately. I set up a big pen out the front and Evan went in and played with the puppies while I did chores. Here are some of the pictures that turned out from today's adventure.
Elma, really excited to be outside!

Brianna (I'm chewing on a weed, see?)

After a few hours, this is what I found. Everyone asleep except for little Elma who was still racing around.
Evan I think was pretending, but I thought it was cute!

Professional Photos of the Puppies!!

Yesterday we had Nina Sage come over and take some beautiful puppy photos. It is a ton of fun having her come over and she really does a great job! Le'o and her girls came over to help, which made things go so much quicker! The puppies did cooperate quite well. Here are the group shots of the three litters Mom and I have at our house. I will be putting more shots up on my website later today. If you want to see the entire shoot, or want to buy anything directly from Nina, please go to her website at www.pdxdogportraits.com Click on Dog Portraits. Then click on Proofs. Then you will find the page for Emily's June 2010. On that page you can find the edited and unedited pictures!

Visitors and more puppy pics...

My friend Kimberly brought her girls over on Sunday morning to see the puppies. Here are a few of the pictures I took! Enjoy!

Heather's puppies at 5 wks!

Heather's puppies at 5 weeks! They are so cute. I need to get a video of them. I could watch them play and interact all day long. We tried to stack the boys, but they are still pretty wobbly. Both Bronco and Calamity Jane are looking for pet homes. The other two boys will be waiting to see how they grow up before deciding on whether they are going to show homes.

The cutest puppy ever...aka Elma at 6 wks!

We tried our best to get shots of little Elma on the table...well Pap puppies are really hard to get stacked properly when they are fuzz balls as well and their toplines just look weird. So, here is her front shot, showing off her cute head. Yes, her ears are still flat against her head! I think her little cream eye lashes are cute!

Nola's girls at 5 weeks!

Yesterday we attempted the puppies first time being stacked on a table in front of a camera. It went well for the most part but a few puppies did not cooperate very well, especially Brianna, who would rather lay on the table. I am pleased with them right now. We will see how the next few weeks bring with their growth and personalities grow.

Brianna

We probably should have retaken her pictures but oh well.

My new hiking son...

We went on a great hike yesterday with Michael. Since Michael is an avid hiker, we decided that maybe Evan should have some gear so they are able to go hiking together. Evan really wants to go out with him, but Michael wants Evan to at least carry water, so he got a new fancy hiking back pack and a water bag to go with it! He is so excited. We went to Wachlella Falls yesterday to hike the 1.8 mile loop. It was hot and lots of people on the trial but beautiful. I am sure Michael will eventually send me pictures of the fall and I will post them.
