Border Collie Puppies :-(

Sadly enough Azula is not having any puppies.  I do not have my computer back up and running with my website program so haven't been able to update my website.  We will try again next time.

Roo is expecting her puppies next week.  She is getting big and looking fabulous.  Praying that she keeps those puppies baking until they are ready this time and we have an easy delivery.

On other news...I am reducing my numbers and have a few Cardigans available as well as a Papillon.  Please  email me at Emluv2sing@aol.com for more information.

Puppies outside!!

The puppies have been enjoying being outside underneath my big tree in my front yard today.  They had several visitors and met some really nice people!  For those wondering I might have Lyric, the brindle female available to a pet/companion home.  The others are all sold or pending final evaluations.

Puppies at 4 weeks - first meal!

As many of you might have heard, I hurt my foot pretty badly.  No broken bones but a bad contusion.  So, I have been barely able to do much the last week.  I am hopeful that I can get Evan to take some fun photos of the puppies today after we get them moved into their new home!  They are just too big for the whelping box, so time to move them in the sun room.  This week, they did get a chance to eat their first meal.  For those who are curious, yes that is just raw ground chicken.  This is how we start off our puppies on a raw natural diet and have been for many years.  Secret is still being a great Mom and cleaning up after them as best as she can!

Evan was kind enough to take some much needed updated photos this week for me while I was busy.  Here are just a few. :-)

The Lincoln look alike - Rhythm!

Here is the mini Lincoln aka Rhythm.  I thought it would be cool to post two pics of the both of them at about the same age just so you can see why I say Rhythm is a Lincoln look alike.  Here is Rhythm above, and Lincoln below.
New 2 week old photos are posted on the website. :-)

Secret's puppies are here!!!

Secret's puppies made quite the entrance to the world, thus why I haven't posted anything yet about them.  Last Monday, Secret's temperature dropped like a normal girl does right before having puppies.  Unfortunately she did not go into labor, instead started having a discharge that is a sign that puppies are in trouble.  On Tuesday morning, she went in for an emergency c-section at our vets.  The problem ended up being a puppy who had died in the uterus and was slowly intoxicating the other puppies and Secret.  I was very thankful I saw the signs that we were in trouble, otherwise the outcome may have been a lot worse.  Unfortunately though, we did loose one of the other puppies, due to it being so close to the dead puppy.  Another puppy we struggled with for it's first week of life to get it nursing and thriving, but she is strong and 'flying solo' thus she became Solo.  Secret came through like a pro though and is being a very good Mom to her 6 puppies who are now stable!!  Phew!!

Here are some much needed cuteness pictures taken yesterday, so at 6 days!!

Puppies are due the end of May!!!

I am so excited to announce that Secret is having puppies due the end of May!!  The proud father will be our very own Lincoln.  This is a linebreeding on my late Ash.  Secret is pictured above at Chintimini KC NWCF's last Supported Entry where she won Select Bitch to finish her Grand CH.  She is now Grand CH Pawcific Secret Wish.

In other news...we have Border Collie litters on the way as well.  I have a co-owned litter from CH Pawcific Hundred Aker Wood CGC.  Roo was bred to our young dog Dasher, Pawcific Ive Got A Date with a Dream STDs.  Pawcific North also has a litter coming from CH Pawcific I've Been Barbie-ized.  Dolly was bred to our Splash, Group Winning CH Majestic Whole Towns Talking RN.

Needless to say it shall be a fun late spring, early summer here at Pawcific with lots of puppies!!

Updates here at Pawcific!

Last week we made a point to have a family photo session of dogs that we needed updated pictures of. It was a nice day, although cold and windy! I am hoping that I can get some more pictures of my crew in the near future but we are in the middle of another rainy spell, so it will have to wait until things clear up again!

First off is Fraser, my sable male. I can't believe he will be two in May already. He is a stunning boy, just needs more time to fill out and mature. Sadly, I am offering him up for sale as my breeding program in Cardigans is coming to an end for the time being. I love breeding the Cardigans but need a break from it to concentrate on other things in life. I have more information about him on my website, but if you would like to inquire about him, please email me at emluv2sing @ aol . com (without spaces).

Might I add that his black overlay is coming back now with his mature coat. He is going through a huge shed right now and is totally ungroomed in these photos. I wanted him to look as naturally himself as possible!

Next updated shots is of Pocahontas or Poca (for short). She is 11 weeks in these photos. As with any photos of her, she is very quick to do other things so it is extremely hard to get her to stay still!

Next update is Nola...she has just been spayed, so no more puppies for her. Instead she gets to go to a great retirement home in Portland. Before she left, I decided I better get an updated shot of her, even though she hardly has any coat (after puppies mothers shed out their coat completely, it's the most bald they will ever be!). Here it is!

Then we move to the Border Collies. First off is Dasher, the handsome Kahnel x Lucy son we kept from that exciting litter. He has been shown as a puppy a few times (with some prestigious wins to his credit already!), but Jenny has been concentrating on more performance training while he matures. He has two legs towards his Rally Novice title, only needs one more to earn that title. Then he also has his STDs title in ASCA herding. More herding titles will be coming soon! He is an amazing herding dog with tons of potential, lots of power and eye with the finesse his mother Lucy has. I am very proud to have bred and own him with Jenny (my sister) and Kathy (my mom). He turned two this winter and he now has all of his health clearances.

Next Border Collie is Dazzle! She is the Sparky/Dolly puppy I kept from that litter. She just turned two as well and after passing her health clearances we look forward to breeding her this Spring/Summer. After her litter, she will then get back to intense training in herding and back in the ring to finish her Championship.

Finally, you cannot forget about my wonderful phalene, Walker. Walker has been on vacation with Mary Jo Loye for the past few months. She kindly offered to show him in her area for us and finished his CH in 8 shows! He is now CH La Ren Moon Walker. Thank you to his breeder/co-owner Janis McLaren for trusting me with this special boy. He is back home and being totally spoiled. He will be making a few appearances in the ring locally and we get to watch his first litter of puppies grow up!
