More pics from today...Alice puppies!

The whole group! Took a bit to get them to stop wiggling or hovering under their Mom. It's pretty funny how all the merles are piled on one another, but the black girl is off the pile.

Alice's puppies!

Alice's puppies were born on Monday. I was a bit tired yesterday, so didn't get a chance to post anything on the blog. The grand total is 6. 3 blue merle boys, 2 blue merle girls, and 1 black girl. I think several people are jealous we had so many merles! :-)

The black girl is one of the most oddly marked puppies I have had in a while, although she has a perfect blaze. It will be interesting to see what she looks like when she gets bigger.

Here are some pictures from whelping...as you can see in some of the pictures they are only minutes old as they haven't dried off yet!

Right after boy #3 was born on the left side of the screen. He was fifth born. Alice going, "these are my puppies?"

A cute one of the three. This picture shows off a bit more of the black girls markings. The puppy with a dot on her head is a girl, the other merle is the more classically marked boy.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to all!

In 2010 I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life. A new career, dreams becoming a reality, and most importantly spending time with my wonderful family. Peace to all.

A very pregnant Alice!

Alice is due any day now. She is a very pregnant miserable girl. Doing better then Dolly though with eating so I am hopeful that everything will go smoothly with whelping. I am using a pool for her whelping and while the pups are babies as my whelping box is still able to hold Dolly's puppies, so Alice is just getting used to her new bed for the next while. Here are a few shots...

Dolly puppies week 4!!

After a big meal, all the puppies are almost sound asleep (minus Ms Moon). They create a huge mess now with their meal all over them (hence the pink all over their little faces). It is so cute to watch them curl up after a good meal, so I took my camera out. Here are a few that I captured...
