Chai

Pawcific Pumpkin Spice Latte, "Chai" at 4 months old. He is my keeper from my last BC litter from CH Winpara Dragonfire and CH Pawcific Hundred Aker Wood. Don't you just love those dark ee reds!!

Just how many colors do BCs come in? I had no idea...is this a 'pink' like in Cardi's?

I wish Cardigans were met with the same openmindedness as far as colors.
Chai is beautiful.

He's Iris colored!

Yes, this would be similar to the pink color in Cardigans. As in Cardigans it is a gene that masks the true color. So, Chai is actually genetically a black and white. BC's do come in a range of colors (you wouldn't believe what we can have!), many of which you don't see in the ring. I have a red merle, a blue merle, a blue, a black, and now a gold (or Australian red). I also have shown a tri.

"Australian Red". I didn't know that term but like it. Iris and Chai are "Australian reds".

We'll see how much openmindedness Iris meets in the ring, L'eo. I suspect that most won't realize that she's not a "regular" red.

Chai is almost enough to make me want a bc ;-)
